Ah Sweet Freedom
So, now that the sucker is done, I'm giving myself a day off. It's a beautiful day and I'm going to go out there and enjoy it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do out there, but I'll do something dammit. Of course, at the moment it's almost noon and I'm still sitting here in my jammies. But hey, it's my day off right? Well, that's all for now. The sun is calling :)

Exploring Laos

One day some friends and I rented bicycles and
tackled Loas' pothole-ridden dirt roads to get to some
caves. We had to leave our bikes behind in order to
trek up to the caves' entrances. Laos is beautiful,
friendly and fun. It's very green and lush and has
the advantage of not being overrun by tourists such as
myself. If you're up for an unusual travel
destination, I highly recommend it.
Photo Problems
Drinks with Long Thanh

When I visited Vietnam in April 2004, I met famous,
Vietnamese photographer Long Thanh, who bought me far
too many drinks and was enthralled with the wrinkles I
get around my eyes when I smile. Kind of puts a
positive spin on crow's feet. In case anyone's mind
is heading for the gutter, it was totally platonic.
Sheesh people. Anyways, I mainly included it because
I think it's a pretty nice picture of me. Can you
tell that I'm a tad tipsy?
